The Lyme/Old Lyme Education Foundation works closely with, but is independent of, the school district. Our Board of
Directors consists of community members representing parents, business leaders and residents with a strong commitment to high
quality public education.
The
Foundation's volunteer Board of Directors meets monthly. The next meeting
will be held at 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 7, 2010. We will discuss our Development Plans and finalize details for our Second
Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for June 28th.

Our Mission Our goal is to create, continue or enhance valuable educational programs above and beyond those traditionally
provided by the Region 18 school district. Our plan is to align our work with the needs identified through the district's
strategic planning process and encourage innovative and effective learning opportunities for students of all ages.
The Foundation seeks to raise and distribute funds to enhance or expand enrichment
programs, support innovative teaching and learning, and build educational partnerships between students and community members.
